Men of Fort Caroline—whether you're in middle school or part of our senior adult ministry, you’re invited to a powerful night of food, connection, and encouragement. Join us for a delicious dinner prepared by Richard Birmingham. After dinner, we’ll hear from special guest speaker Glenn Ellison.
Glenn Ellison’s story is one of resilience, perseverance, and hope. As the oldest of six children, Glenn grew up facing significant financial struggles and a home marked by his father’s battle with alcoholism. These challenges fueled his drive to succeed, and he poured his energy into sports, eventually earning a full scholarship to play college football. With a mindset of relentless discipline, Glenn defied the odds and secured a spot on the Oakland Raiders roster—proving that hard work and determination can overcome even the steepest obstacles.
Following his football career, Glenn devoted his life to inspiring others, mentoring at-risk youth, and sharing his belief that no matter how tough life gets, it is possible to rise above it. His story has impacted countless lives and continues to inspire through his book and newly released movie. Glenn’s message challenges audiences to find strength in adversity, live with purpose, and believe that a brighter future is always within reach.
